Dear parent/guardian,

Following the success of the after school hockey club and subsequent participation at the Rotherham School Games tournament for both the U11s boys and U11s girls teams, Mr Hayes would like to invite any children in years 3 and 4 to attend a basketball club.

The club will run on Monday after school from 3:00pm-4:15pm, starting on the 9th January and finishing on the 6th of February for half term. We hope to use these weekly sessions to help the children prepare for an upcoming inter school basketball tournament in February.

Any children wanting to attend will need to have a P.E. kit with them on the day and have all jewellery removed.

If your child wishes to attend the club, please could you complete the attached google form no later than Wednesday 14th December.

Y3/4 Basketball club form

Any submissions received after the 14th of December may not be considered so please don’t leave it too late if your child wishes to attend.

We are aiming for an approximate size of 16 per week with a maximum of 20 children. If there is a high demand for the club, we will consider how best to meet the need by either alternating the children into blocks of time or selecting in some kind of alternate way such as drawing out of a hat or first come first served etc.
