Fe! Fi! Fo! Fum!

Last week was fantastic, but we were back to studying animal life cycles in science class this week. While we were engrossed in the animal kingdom, we shouldn't overlook the lessons that the plant kingdom can teach us. A complete life cycle, from a bean to a shoot, from a shoot to a flower, and from a flower to a fruit, can be observed in just a few short months. We will monitor the germination and first budding signs of life over the next few weeks.

Our budding, (get it?) gardeners will have the opportunity to bring their mini little friends home with them which means that they will be able to plant them in a sunny spot and look after them while they mature into a plant capable of giving them beans. This means that they will see the plant fulfil its circle of life. Now, how many of you are humming the Lion King right now? Come on be honest!
