We set up an experiment to find out how different liquids affect our teeth over time.

We discussed how an eggshell is very similar to the enamel on the outside of our teeth and by looking at how the eggshells are affected by the different liquids, we can begin to understand how these liquids affect our teeth over time.

We boiled the eggs and then put them into 6 different liquids - water, whole milk, fresh orange, dilute orange, coca-cola and tea. 

We made sure our experiment was a fair one - please come and ask us how we did this.

We made predictions about which liquids would damage the teeth and what we thought the damage might be.

Now we wait and observe before removing the eggs in just over a week!
