The penultimate week in year 5 has been another good one. 

We have finished writing our letters to Sir Keir Starmer and two of them have been sent for the prime minister to read. Congratulations to Maria and Ruby - we will update you if we get a reply.

Next week is our last week together in year 5 and whilst it will be sad for us to pass the children on to their year 6 teachers, we couldn't send them to two better people so we will enjoy our final week and then smile as the children enter their final year at Rosehill!

Next week, we will still be collecting dojo points as we look to add raffle tickets into a prize draw on Friday. 

We will need P.E. kits on Monday and then some of us will need them on Friday for our Dojo reward morning. 

In English, we will study Benjamin Zephaniah's poetry.

In maths, we will continue learning about volume.

In geography, we will continue our Local Study unit of work. 

In P.E., we will continue our rounders unit of work.

On Friday, we will enjoy a range of fun activities to celebrate our time together in year 5!
