Geographical Fieldwork

As part of our local geography study, the children carried out fieldwork to observe traffic patterns around the school. They recorded and tallied the different types of vehicles passing by, noting how frequently each one appeared. This hands-on data collection helped them identify trends and make connections to both prior knowledge and future learning. The children also considered why certain types of vehicles were more common, discussed the impact of traffic on the local environment, and explored more eco-friendly alternatives for travel.
