What an amazing week we've just had in year 5!

Whilst the majority of the year group went away and made lifelong memories at Herd Farm, the group who stayed behind at school enjoyed a brilliant project led by Mrs Bourke. 

We then enjoyed sharing our different experiences with each other as we made our own presentations which we delivered yesterday. 

Next week sees a return to normality as we return to the classroom for lessons.

We would therefore like P.E. kits and reading books in school every day (we will try and build in time for any children who need it to swap their books), reading logged on boomreader, times tables and spellings to be practised at home.

We do have parents' evening appointments on Tuesday and Wednesday where both myself and Miss Ballard are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible to discuss the starts your children have made to their time in year five. If possible, we would like the children to attend the meetings too, as it is always nice for them to hear all the positive things we have to say about them as well as the areas we think they can make improvements in.

We also have class photos on Thursday 16th October so I'll be making an extra special effort with my hair that day!
