Programming micro:bits

As part of our ongoing Design and Technology unit on sensor lights, the children recently explored programming using micro:bits. In this session, they learnt how to code the devices to detect changes in light levels and trigger an LED to turn on when it becomes dark. This practical activity not only reinforced their understanding of light sensors and basic programming logic but also gave them a glimpse into real-world applications of technology. We’re very grateful to TechSheCan for kindly lending us the micro:bits—thank you for supporting our learning!
