Are you ready for a challenge Rosehill children? Each week, 5 new weekly challenges will be set by the teachers in school, as well as Mr Holmes and Mr Wagstaff. You have a week to complete the challenge. If you would like to, please share your response by emailing blog@rosehill-juniors.co.uk with your pictures, videos etc and we will post it to this page.
We hope as many of you can take part as possible. We encourage you to take part in as many of the challenges as you like, you don't just have to do the ones set by your class teacher.
Thank you for the great entries to my first challenge. I've now seen parts of Rawmarsh and the surrounding area from different viewpoints.
This week's challenge is to take a set of rainbow pictures. I'd like a picture to represent each different colour of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet) so seven pictures in total. The pictures can be of any object as long as the colours are clear.
Good luck!
For my challenge, I want to see Rawmarsh and the surrounding area in a new light.
I would like you to take photographs of interesting things as you are out and about in the community. It could be an interesting tree, part of a building, a scenic view or something of your choice.
You could choose to make your picture different by getting creative with filters (this might need some help from parents/carers to show you how to do it), making a normal scene more interesting by using panorama effect or choosing an unusual angle.
Let's see what you can do!
