E-Safety

At Rosehill Junior School, we regularly teach our children about the importance of staying safe online. Through whole school assemblies, computing lessons and other appropriate timely discussions, we ensure our children understand the importance of e-safety. With many apps, games and social media platforms easily accessible to children on a range of devices, we take pride in ensuring our children are as well informed and prepared as possible to make sensible and safe decisions when online.

Below are some fantastic posters from 'National Online Safety' which provide relevant information for parents/carers regarding a range of apps, games and social media platforms. They detail age-restrictions, the potential dangers of using the app/game/social media platform along with top tips for parents if you choose to allow your child/children to access them.

Below is some general advice for parents/carers regarding e-safety topics we have discussed with the children in school including:

*Live streaming

*Use of home devices on the internet

*Online Challenges

*Online bullying
